Weird looking 1943 penny

    I have this 1943 cent and I know they are supposed to be zinc, but this looks like there is a 1943 copper cent with a cracking layer of zinc over it. Im just not sure if this has any value or if its just a normal penny.

    '43 was zinc coated steel. Yours has lost some of its zinc and the steel core is showing rust. It's worth one cent.

    so instead of sending in your possible (which I never heard of San Fransico?) 1943 off metal worth...? you decide to saw it in half? Im lost on your logic.

    Got more no big,,,,,and i got told by local pcgms that these wer junk and shouldnt bother sending it in

    Chem analaysis came back positive for copper,nickel and zinc ,,,

    Weight was,,,,,2.9 grams others weigh same
