Penny mint Error?

found this in one of my rolls... it is zinc and I’ve seen zinc deteriorate only in spots but never like this.

This “zincoln”’s made it... maybe the effects of a sweaty palm on a long term lucky penny?

 

As above, acid treated/enviornmental damage (buried?)

 

Honestly, this is the kind of thread that no one should answer. Oops...

 

It's just environmental damage, not a mint error.

 

Probably got driven over or scraped on something rough like concrete or asphalt. I don't think it's a mint error.
