Is this a small date or large date?

Hi Shanequa Young as said above you have a large date. It takes a while to see past your own hopeful aspirations. Here is an image you need to look at.. Study it its easy to see after a while. This is not my coin or image. 1982-d-small-date-lincoln-memorial-cent.jpg

I find the shape of the "2" to be the eezy-peezy way to tell.

But what I can not comprehend for the life of me is why I have never found a small-date copper 1982!

I've searched scads of them, but never a hit! Unbelievable! I mean, there has already been one of them found, so I ought to be having them coming out of my ears by now! Right? Right? Riiiiiiiiight??? :)

[[Seriously, I know the miniscule odds, but I still continue to check each one, just as I do with 1998, 1999, 2000, as well as toasting my retinas trying to scrutinize the "FG" on those *%^&*$ 1988 cents. (And by the same token, I cringe each time I pick an "idiot gouged" cent, in sheer terror that it'll turn out to be something like a 1955 DDO or some other ten-grand-plus treasure, turned into pure crap by some [insert_expletive_of_choice].)]]
