1/4 Oz Standing Liberty Gold

On Craigslist in my area someone was offering a 1/4 oz standing liberty gold coin for $400. After several weeks with no buyers, he is offering it for $380...should I???

It is said to be in OGP...any hints on testing authenticity?

 

Cheapest one on ebay is 415. With 8 ebucks that's 33 off, so 382. Forget craigslist.

The one on ebay looks good, the seller has 100 percent positive feedback, you may return it for 14 days if you don't like it.

I'd offer him 400, and get it for 400-32=368.

 

What is the $33 or $32 you mention?

...OK, I did it... I figured someone had bought it from the mint and then gold did a nose-dive and they just needed to get the money. Seemed legit, he had the order to his address, all the OGP stuff and the coin looked legit. I took it out of the capsule - not that easy, but not terribly hard - and weighed it. Weight 7.80 g Is there any reason I should think it ain't good? Here's the pic I took...

 

Unless that is some Uber-super fake.... And I don’t think it is.... That is a sweet pick up!
