These pictures are scanned. In person the coin in bright and very stunning. It's not PL or DMPL though, could be wrong.

It' is one of my favorite coins. Tell me what you think it's grade is. I intend to keep it in it's coin world SLAB. Just reprint the label with the Consensus grade here.

CTGS I suppose. (Coin Talk Grading Service)

A coin world slab is a glorified coin holder. It's not sealed and opens readily. Think of it as a slabbed shaped holder.

It looks AU to me, as there appears to be wear/rub on Liberty's face.

Very nice Morgan! Hard to really grade by the pics, but it might go from AU-BU. Very attractive lady! :thumb:

it's probably the scan, but that looks like AU55 details and dipped to me.

    I'd give it a MS-63.

Okay - I got to ask, how can you all see anything on that coin? No offense to the original poster, but scanners kind of suck at getting images of coins. There is so much glare I can not see enough details. So what are you all seeing for the grade you picked? I think I see enough detail in the hair and on the eagle to go MS, but that does not mean there is the rub that Mark mentioned.

Granted, it is extremely difficult to assess the coin from those images, but, they are all we have. It appears that there is wear/rub on Liberty's face, which shows up as lighter, white areas which are different from the rest of the surfaces - see to the right of her chin and mouth and on her cheek. I might have a different opinion based on different/better images.

you need to zoom in on the coin and get the slab out of the picture.

There is obvious wear on the cheek and the neck, so I would have to call it au-58. :(

Maybe MS-63. I still see some luster so maybe MS-60. P.S. good luck with CTGS!

Thanks all, the scanned images are horrid and are a pale reflection of the coin. My best guess was MS-63.

I really love the coin regardless, it's a nice semi-key Morgan
