    Welcome to Cointalk
I guess I would say are you happy? If you are happy that's all that matters at least that's my point of view when I buy something. Lol

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

As you advance through this type of collecting, you will learn there is the "regular" way to collect early copper, and then there is the EAC way. They have a whole different set of "rules" from "regular" guys.

Well said, Dave..... I can tell by your excitement over the coin that you did well. An early Matron Head is a steal at eleven bucks. And the pleasure it is giving you is invaluable. What else can you spend eleven bucks on for something that can make you feel that good? Not only that but somebody dropped $30.00-$50.00 having that coin graded and authenticated for you. Yep, I would say that was a well spent eleven bucks.

Awsome! Yeah I'm still fairly new to collecting but no matter what I find it's exciting even finding just a common wheat penny. To me the fun is in the history and the thrill of the hunt lol but I'm glad I found this fourm so I can extend my knowledge

Sweet coin, crack that thing out!!! Looks like an N1, although it could be an N6, would need to see better photos of the obverse to confirm, reverse is definately the A reverse. For $11 I think you did well.
