My opinion - Details grade. Over dipped.

Cleaned MS67. It is too bad this coin was over dipped.

Do you think this is dipped due to the blast white appearance? Asking for my own education. I can spot a cleaned coin from a mile away. Dipped coins are a bit of a mystery to me. I rather appreciate a blast white coin as my aged eyes can make out more detail on a blast white specimen. What's the clue that tells you it is dipped?

I'm not an expert either, it's just what I think, I could be wrong.

If you look at third pic, areas around "AMERICA" and "UNITED" look unnatural. I don't know how to describe it, like little fibers on coin. I doubt it came like that from the mint...

I see some die cracks above the eagle in "STATES"? @paddyman98

I will take it out tonight and photograph. I would not call this one dipped. I used different lighting and focused more on the details than the color. In hand the coin is not discolored.

MS63.I like the strike but the bag marks are distracting.

Hard to be too specific with those images, I'd say it probably falls between 63-65 somewhere

Can't tell from pics. Looks like a lot of chatter but no nicks of scratches. 63-64ish but maybe a lot better grade with diff.pics.

    John Skelton Morgan man!

Like you, I like blast white Morgans. But according to my recent learning experience here, I would say all of the little scratches on it might indicate it was cleaned. I could be wrong about that, since I'm still trying to learn how to tell, but that's what I took away from my last thread.

I've taught grading Morgan dollars for awhile now and this coin has too many contact marks in the prime focal area (the face). Should grade MS 61 or at best MS 62.

It’s photographed just fine. I don’t know why you keep telling people to do this.

This is the best I can do. Usually @ToughCOINS and @man2004 gets it right! Used an LCD light with tissue for a diffuser.

    Unirculated details.

This is not how 140 year old silver looks like. Dipped. Maybe a little too much.

This is a dipped-to-lifelessness uncirculated coin.
