ANACS notes cleaned coins. Think they will denote one that fell into a garbage disposer. http://cgi.ebay.com/1864-Two-Cent-P...yZ149924QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
WOW!! SOME OF THE NICEST COINS ON EBAY!! Yes, it's worth quoting again. I had to email them and tell them to sell ultra culls as same. GEEZ!
OMG a coin uglier than my 14-S !!! Fakes? I know them to sell junkers, but not fakes......hmmmm, Im not at all suprised
To put it nicely, I am not a fan of that particular seller. Thankfully they use that red background, so I can just pass on their listings.
Wouldn't be suprised to see ANACS grade a coin "AU55 details... garbage disposal damage... net grade G4..." lol... I'd only ever buy one of these things if it's so rare I can't afford better. I have some damaged/cleaned coins in my collection that still give a good idea of what the coin looks like, would be too expensive for me to afford otherwise, and still are reasobably attractive (they may not be prefect, but still look nice). However if it can't make a grade without damage notation though I'd see no point in buying it graded, unless it's a coin so often faked that I'd be paying for an opinion on its authenticity rather than its grade (Trade dollars would be an excellent example.)
