    Hey Guys,
I was curious on how much comes in a bag of ike dollars. Banks are closed today and ive seen (from various websites) they come from 500 or 1000 or 2000, so really I didn't get an answer. Have any of you ever order ike dollars, and how much was in the bag. Also if I were silver mining what would be better large dollars or halves?
    Thanks,
    Jason

I have gotten Ikes from various financial institutions - sometimes in the hundreds. But you cannot order bags of them from financial institutions unless some customer deposits them somewhere. The Fed doesn't ship out anything but the Sackie/Prexibucks.

1972 Mint Bag.jpg In the past, the Eisenhower Dollars were delivered exactly the same way as the Morgan and Peace Dollars. In $1,000 bags.

The "small" dollars such as the SBA were available in $2,000 bags.

Packaged by weight as some settling may occur during shipping and handling!

By the way years ago I put away lots of canvas bags. Now I sell them at $5 a bag. Seems the banking institute has switched over to plastic long ago. :wideyed:
