Can someone please estimate how much this 1912 5 dollar coin may be worth?

ASSUMING IT’S REAL, melt on it would be about $290. Photos aren’t great so I can’t really tell the condition that well, but it could possibly be worth more.

Do you have a scale to check the weight?

I do have a scale, however, I don't have the coin with me currently.

Weigh it when you get a chance. Should be 8.24 grams or so. Wear could bring it the weight down as could mint tolerances

It and the $2-1/2 Indian are among the most counterfeited of U.S. coins.

This one is damaged...you can see it near the year 1912.
    Removed Loop or filed rim...sorry.

    So....Melt value plus 3%

    :sorry:
