Got it not an error thanks.. ive 9nly been doing coins for 10 years and when i got it in my habd u cld c an obvious difference n the size not jst size of coin but actual print all letters r smaller then a normal 1918 wheat but as i am not an expert i will take ur word that its a fluke anomaly

I am a little sorry I mentioned the electrical compression, it is possible, but is very unlikely, where as acid environment is very common and to me the most likely scenario. Jim

yeah, junk. Possible detecting coin, you can find them, esp at the beach, worn down to a smaller size
