PCGS is really tough on Jefferson Nickels at the MS67 level. This coin while beautiful, has MS66 surfaces. Although, depending when it was graded, a bump to a + grade for the color is not out of the question. This would be an MS67* all day at NGC.
I don’t understand how that’s *not* 67, however Nickels aren’t my specialty. Yet the earmarks are all there. Attractive tone, the fields and even bust, etc are immaculate. Incredibly attractive coin!
