Any info on how many troy ounces of silver are in a roll of 1964 Kennedy's? I see that most of the rolls on Ebay are selling for around $100 in so-called Gem BU condition. I am curious as to whether I should sell them now or hold onto them as I have about a half dozen rolls as well as about a dozen of the 40% Silver coins. The only reason I am considering selling them is to pick up enough cash to buy a few key and/or semi-key date Lincolns due to the 100th anniversary coming up. I'm thinking 1914D, 1931S, and if I can get a buddy to go in on it with me, a 1909s vdb in MS60+. Opinions Please???

I personally use apmex.com and mjpm.com to get an idea of the going rates for buying/selling junk silver. (note: this is not an endorsement for either site to actually buy or sell).

I assume those rolls were bought "for a rainy day" and you are not particularly attached to them. Without looking into the crystal ball and future silver prices, I would say that you should buy what you want. This would certainly apply if you bought those rolls for much less than current market prices.
