It does look like foil-wrapped chocolate! This is a modern fantasy issue with no numismatic value. Its only value is as a novelty item- perhaps a buck or so at most. It's pretty blatantly and obviously fake. The striking characteristics, lettering, etc, are all wrong for a California fractional gold piece, and it doesn't even have a date on it. It's more of a charm than a coin.
