My latest acquisition was mailed from the U.A.E. and made it though ISC NY (USPS) in one day! Yippee! Don't know how normal this is but it is a heck of a lot better than last time!

That's great, @ancient coin hunter ! I think I know the dealer who you've purchased from. If it's who I think it is, he's always provided me with fast and excellent service. I've never ordered more than one coin at time from him, so I'm not sure if the lightness of package weight effects the category of shipping options he can use.

 

It was Zurqieh @Deacon Ray so far I have been quite pleased with everything I've purchased from him.

 

He has some great coins for sale, and he's always been helpful when I've asked questions online. I think I'll pay his VCoins site a visit and see what's available

 

How long did it take for you to get the coin from UAE, was it more than 2 weeks?thanks,

Hi @Svarog - no it was shipped on the 18th and arrived on the 23rd in NY. Made it through the ISC in less than 24 hours and now has departed the Bronx, NY USPS regional facility for the San Francisco USPS facility.

 

Whenever a delivery person comes to my door, I tip them $5. I think they remember you after a few times and make more of an effort to deliver to you.
