I believe I have identified this correctly as the D/D RPM based on the die crack on the neck and left wing. Any additional confirmation would be appreciated as well as thoughts on grade and value. Thank you!
I think you got it pegged. Grade and value however not my strong suit so I'll leave that to the more educated in that department.
I agree that it is UNC. One that was MS64 sold on Heritage in March for $264. If mine is in fact a D/D and would grade in that range, I would consider sending it off for grading. Any more opinions? @WashQuartJesse
Hi Mark, I had a chance to view your other post(s) where you shared your collection. For what it's worth, most of them had the sort of look I don't mind at all, or even prefer. No beautiful toning necessarily, but a little of this and that which may suggest O.S.'s. Add some nice luster and stronger strikes and you have some great coins. I don't pay much attention to the RPM's as of late, but used to, and may again in the future. Jose Cortez, I believe, had a great site for this which I used to frequent. The coin shared here (among the others you've posted) appears very clean to me. The photos may not quite capture its luster, however. There's the small hit in the NE obverse field and what looks to be some sort of abrasion in the NW field, possibly. The reverse T spot and the average strike would hold the coin at a 64 or 65 for me assuming it never took a bath. Probably worth sending in imho.
