Here's a few of around 10 coins I recently received from @GerardV . It was a very thoughtful and generous gift, and it means a lot considering I haven't bought a coin in about 2 months due to focusing on further upgrading my astronomy equipment to better deal with the hot humid Florida nights and the light polution in my area, plus some unforeseen expenses that came out of nowhere over the last 2 weeks. I will probably write individual threads for at least 3 or 4 of the coins he sent me over the next week when I have more time, but this ought to wet your appetites while you wait... The Licinius II and Constantius II here are definitely the jewels of this generous endowment of 4rth Century coins. Can't wait to take better images of both and do a proper write up.
Oh, for sure. There are at least 4 or 5 that will probably be permanent fixtures of my collection, and the rest will be with me for a good long while until I upgrade in the distant future and pass them on to newbies. Here's another that will get it's own write-up and will be part of my permanent collection going forward. What a beauty. Again, can't wait for proper pictures. I'd do it today if I wasn't busy with 500 pages of docs for a mediation tomorrow.
