Sent in for regrade. Think they have a chance of upgrading?

    Send the 1806 back for another regrade.

    Maybe you can get it to grade higher again. I think it could go one more grade higher if they really sat and looked at the coin. There may not be as much wear as there appears to be. There was a reason why they graded it higher a second time. Let them look at it a third time. You know third time is the charm.

    I see what you're saying, but I've dug myself many a hole doing just that, a few years ago. I doubt I'll even waste time with CAC. I'll let the next owner do all that, if they wish.

    They came back the grades they appeared to me, just on the wrong coins. Congrats.

    @C-B-D Are there any indications that PCGS is starting to loosen back up again to the point of normalcy? The service has been super tight for the last few months.

    They've been tight since January this year. Last couple orders, however, they are grading like 2017 again... for the most part.

    I am really surprised that 1806 got bumped to EF-40.

    No offense, but that is overgraded now.
