It felt like Christmas. 3-back from PCGS 22 No D , 1955 DDO and the 1876-S TD all crossed from NGC. The half cent and 72 DDO Die 5 arrive from sellers. The 2018-W ASE was a surprise this is only the second 70 I ever got from PCGS.
Oh no kidding! Now I am jealous! That one ranked right up there as a dream coin with an 09-S, VDB for me as a kid. And I still don't have one. That's sharp.... And to the new collectors trying to find a doubled die with your fancy microscopes and such. Look at the top right cent. That's the real deal. No magnification required.
The problem usually is that when the economy takes a downturn, your available funds take a downturn as well, and those coins which you lust after, which are now much cheaper, remain out of reach.
thus the "I hope" part of the statement. But I'm sure I'll be fine. The Dead weight I had before is gone.
Got to love the 1955 DDO. You can actually see the variety without a microscope! Nice coins all around. TC
