Came across a remarkable 1976 Bicentennial quarter today in my pocket change comparing it to some other grading companies I know that the drum needs separations lines in it this quarter has it all check it out let me know if I got anything and if it's a keeper here here's some pictures thank you
Being a bicentennial aficionado I have quite the soft spot for these. Granted the mint struck these for two years with mintages in the billions, they are quite common. However I haven’t seen one come from circulation looking that nice in forty years. Yes sir that’s a keeper!
No. That costs a lot of money. It is in good condition, (AU?) but the value is prob .25 cents. Perhaps .50 cents if you found someone who wants an album upgrade. They made a TON of these, and the market is soft for them. It's still a nice coin, and you can just save it in a 2x2 coin flip to protect it.
For the love of all things holy - NO. It's a nice quarter but certainly not worth wasting your money on sticking it in a stupid plastic coffin.
From the grocery store i wish I looked when the girl handed me my change because I just put it in my pocket with all my other change and I might have put that little scratch in it oh well
I like the drummer boy coins. I got a really nice one from circulation a couple months ago. someone must have gotten to the bottom of their dad's quarter jar.
I know these coins were hoarded by the millions, but to find one in that condition in circulation is a find. Someone probably a bit down on their luck decided to spend some they had put away. Definitely a keeper.
No. Not unless you like throwing money away. Heck, I been collecting fifty years. 85% of my coins aren’t worth a TPG grade.
Thanks guyz i appreciate all the feed bAck a third party grade co has one online terrable detali at ms67+ ridiculously in terrible condition for an MS 67 just saying
There are no MS-67 coins in terrible condition. I assume that coin is not professionally graded. And someone just saying that's what it is when it prob isn't even AU.
