This was in a dealer's junk box. I paid his asking price of $30. Even in dug and polished condition, this date sells for $400...

Just barely made it at 49$ including fees. 1954 PCGS PR67, undesignated DDO FS-101. Given the toning, this should be a $200+ coin once designated with the variety.

Watch it. The dealers are going to start locking the door when they see you in the parking lot.:D

Got this today at a local pawn shop. First coin I've bought in years. Liked the details and circcam appearance. 20180719_140013.jpg 20180719_140041.jpg

I just picked this up for $5.61. I used 5.40 in expiring eBay bucks for a net cost of 21 cents with free shipping. S-257 VI Obverse.jpg S-257 VI Reverse.jpg

This is a common S-257 in an uncommon Die State V and possibly the theorized Die State VI depending on whether you consider it a full CUD or just approaching it.

Now that looks like a luster bomb!! It coming back as a 6 or 7 would not be surprising. A 7 would be spectacular!!
