Okay guys, here is another one. I'm sorry about posting a lot of these, I'm just trying to learn some things with grading. Here is a 1915 S Lincoln cent, as you can probably guess from the title, lol. What I'm asking, what would you give this coin? A F-15, or a VF-20? The reverse looks like a VF, but the obverse I'm not sure on. Lincoln doesn't have full hair that I'm told has to be there for a cent to grade a VF, but looks like there is a slight split in the cheek. So, I'm on the fence with this one. All help will be appreciated. Thanks! Phoenix
I would guess that it would make VF-20. It does not appear to be a strong strike. However, is that corrosion around "GOD" and below the "S"?
hmm, tough choice! Im gonna have to stick with the possibly undergraded F-15. But VF-20 is also a possibility.
Cool, thanks for the opinions all! I am considering this one, not real sure yet. Might wait for a better one to come along, we'll see. Might go for it though. RLM, I am not sure if that is corrosion or not, I can ask the seller though. Good eye. :thumb: Phoenix
Ahh, thanks rlm. Very good eye. Thanks. I guess I'll pass on it then. Thanks for all the help! Phoenix
Really? Man, they must have been in a real good mood that day. Are you going to resubmit it, and hope for a 30? Phoenix
