1992 D Penny Doubled Die?

    Is this what I think it is? The mint mark clearly is doubled. Could it be a doubled die? It doesn't look the the machine doubling or die deterioration doubling that I have seen. Any opinions?

    Possible die chip or bubbling IMO. I'm sure others with more knowledge and experience will chime in.

    Notice the "bubble" on Lincoln's collar too.

    I will say It is more of a die chip. I think '92 was the year the mint stopped using
    hand-punched mintmarks.

    Not a Die Chip
    Just a plating issue on the Mint Mark.
    Plating bubble.
    Nothing at all to do with a Doubled Die
