Not a coin, but a token reminiscent of the obverse of the Morgan dollar. I don’t know what this tokens purpose was though, so I can’t help you there, but it looks like it spent a very long time in someone’s pocket. Probably someone’s good luck charm.
I think I've seen the reverse before - on cheap Chinese fakes on Office Of Assayers coins. I'd have to go check though through the internet. edit …. yup, reverse from a US Assayers coins (one below is a real one - nicely detailed) - more of a flying chicken on the one above.
Not much, probably, if it isn't silver (and it certainly doesn't look right for silver). Maybe a buck or two, as a novelty. Would be a fun pocket piece, lucky token, or golf ball marker if one was so inclined.
