Thats not the point. I know the answer because it's what I do every day. It's a simple question for me to answer, impossible for you with the knowledge you have in the field. Which is why when the OP asked the questions he did, it might have been obvious and simple for us, but to him it was as difficult as you answering my question. Not, perhaps impossible, but when you have no clue what I'm even asking nor where to look for an answer, it's daunting at best. Give the kid some slack. Knowledge is meant to be taught, not thrown in the face of those who want it.
t wasn't a coin question. I was making a point to bdunnse about how asking questions shouldn't make one a victim.
I get it, but googling or searching this coin site easily answers the proof question. Googling doesn't answer your question (I assume this based on "best of luck" comment).
Perhaps it would have answered it for him. But does that mean people have to treat him like a dolt here? I assumed most of us were adults here. This is why I rarely visit here anymore.
hungryahmad, see what you started with your question of what even experienced numismatists have problems with, thanks for your question and the few things I've learned on this string. I learn something new everyday, Ed
We have all got to remember that the most stupid or dumbest questions in this world are the ones that didn't or don't get asked!!!!
3+ year old thread. I have the 1943 and the 1944. Everyone does. The super rare coins are the 1943 bronze not steel, and the 1944 steel not bronze. Photos, photos on scales, etc. are needed to see. The 1943 steel is very common, as is the 1944 bronze.
If you mean a 43 bronze and 44 steel, not without some proof. And you do realize you are criticizing a comment made 3 and a half years ago?
