You guys have good eagle eyes.... I've bought this coin, since it' s in a Rattler Holder and I see a MS64 reverse. Like it...thanks for your guesses. Here is the result.
Nice Peace Dollar! Although I’ve yet to see one I didn’t like! As @ddddd noted, I think the hits to her cheek prevented a higher grade.
It's funny, I just recently purchased a large lot of MS63 peace dollars and I've got to say, the condition is ALL OVER THE PLACE! Some have bag marks galore some look very clean...all are MS63. Weird stuff.
The coin would bring a 63 today but not worth the fees. The old holder makes up for it. It's a nice coin.
Love Peace dollars. They give me a dickens of a time grading them. I withheld my guess for fear of self incrimination. But is was close on this one. Nice coin!
PCGS has been really tight today. I think if he cracked it (which I wouldn't advise), it would likely come back as a 62.
Dang, missed this GTG. I think 62 is accurate even if not in a rattler holder...but still a nice lustrous coin.
I like the holder and would have gladly bought it at a 62 price. It seems to have a very dull appearance, as if previously dipped and probably more than once.
