It’s a hot Sunday afternoon custom made for enjoying my coins under the A/C.

I been collecting since way before anyone ever heard of a TPG and for me personally the list of negative qualities far outweigh the positive qualities of a slabbed coin. Today I finally found a redeaming quality that is meaningful to me.

My aged eyes demand magnification to enjoy my coins. My favorite magnifier has a set of LED lamps that illuminate the piece being viewed. I discovered today the old flips that comprise much of my collection give off a bright glare under the LED lamp. My slabbed coins do not have that glare.

    A flip under the lamp.

So other than the obvious reasons. What other redeaming qualities can I add to my “like slabs” list?

Can be used for leveling out wobbly chairs and tables?

See, I like this.... I was leaning toward putting black dots on them and playing dominoes with the kids.

I was expecting you to say that your 2x2 melted... it might in Southern Louisiana!
