My mind must have switched off after the "bean scene".

 

I may be aging myself, but I never saw the movie, is it worth watching?

 

Well........depends on your sense of humor. What I thought was funny back them, I would probably find mildly amusing now.
I remember telling someone last year about Soylent Green with Charlton Heston was going to be on tv and how good it was. I'll never recommend another movie. It sure was different from what I remembered it was.

 

It is loaded with what today’s standards consider offensive humor, including racial.

I actually watched it recently and although not as good as I remembered, it was still good.

I remember shortly after seeing the movie, I flew into LA. The cloud of smog over the city from the air reminded me of the city scenes from the movie.

 

...or was that Bladerunner...

 

The turned EGR into waffers in Soylent Green.

 

But Bladerunner was in LA, I thought Soylent Green was in NYC. BTW, I always wondered if EGR ended up as Soylent Green or the new Soylent Orange

 

You may be right. I might be confused because the smog over LA reminded me so much of the movie.
