1979 Susan B Anthony $1 coin can't make out if the mint. its a D or P

    Back when these first came out I thought they were cool. So I went to the bank and got a bunch and put them in a handful of 35mm film canisters.

    Yes, they’re still in there. I had to check a couple of them to show you.

    Where I live I suspect that most of them are P or D mint. I haven't checked. I put them back away into the dark and dry abyss.

    That' what I thought it looked like a d.
    Yeah I thought that one was a D. And those are real nice that you have. The bank i went to only had 8 dollar coins. I cant get that many at once. That' cool though.

    if I wasn't clear ... well I went to the bank in 1979 - when they first appeared ... so they had bunches and bunches of them I imagine.

    They've been in those film cannisters nearly 40 years now.

    First coin is a P, the second is an S. Not sure why the P mm was so bad but they had an excuse for the S. They had been using the same S punch for five years and it was shot.
