1979 Susan B Anthony $1 coin can't make out if the mint. its a D or P

Got this today and the mint looks very bloby and looks like a P or D. It's very circulated though.

I believe that's a P mint mark.

My other one is a D mint and it has a die chip on the D. Am I wrong? Or another bad circulated coin?

 

Pretty sure that one is actually an S mint. Maybe? Maybe?

Rather lacking, actually. The mint had the ability to produce better mint mark strikes, but for some reason, blob like ones occurred. Same with Eisenhower dollars for some years.

 

The mintmarks for these years almost have the appearance of being 'glued' upon the coin........
