Hard to tell but maybe Titus or Domitian if one carefully looks at the portrait.

I'm sorry that I don't have an answer for your question, April, but it's great to have an enthusiastic new member to the Ancients Forum!

Good morning @ancient coin hunter, I just wanted to give you some encouragement on your coin order that's hung up with US Customs. USCS can be excruciatingly slow but don't lose heart. I ordered many of my Judaean coins from a dealer in Jerusalem, Israel and a couple of those shipments took 2 months to get to me.

Thanks for the encouragement @Deacon Ray - the coin is coming from the U.A.E (Dubai) and I hope it doesn't permanently get stuck.

I'm sure it will be fine. If you ordered from Hussam M. Zurqieh—it will be fine—I've never had any issues with his shipments. He offers some great coins on his site and he's always been quick to answer any of my questions.

    Welcome here from France April.

My guess (given the poor preservation of your coin) would be Vespasian as #1, or Titus as #2

    Hope that helps

It’s just a guess, but I think that you must consider a provincial from Antioch, maybe Pisidia. Perhaps, Philip I or II, but there are other rulers with this reverse type.

Justin Lee I learn by doing

A deity sitting left holding victory (on the upper left)? It looks like there is something in the exergue.

What are the dimensions? 25-30mm I assume? Can you share an exact(ish) measurement?

anyone know of any victory sitting with mintmark underneath and obverse of balding emperor?

The coin is extremely poorly maintained. The metal is copper or brass. Whatever the emperor's supposition, it will be a mere hunch. I can still see more a standard and Eagles on the reverse than a sitting Vitoria. Moreover, I continue to believe in Antioch, by the letters on exergue. More precisely Pisidia, whatever the emperor of the third century. But that's just a guess, an opinion. Don’t look for silver or RI. The issue here is probably provincial (in copper or brass).
