1986 Lincoln face deformed?

First time EVER doing this or collecting. Where did the deformity come from and is there any value?

    I don't believe it to be a fake but your coin is damaged (Post Mint Damage) PMD not a mint error.IMO

    Thank you for your response. Don;t know anything about these things. Wonder how it was damaged? Looks globbed?

    Looks like someone held a small torch flame to the edge.

    Welcome to Coin Talk, Joey.
    Zinc has a low melting point, and the copper plating is so very thin it will move under the same heat stress.
