As I indicated, I did obtain a second ancient at the same time as the first one I posted. My pictures are very much in need of improvement, so I have resorted to the sellers photo. I like this coin very much. It is very small, but has a fascinating themed reverse.

    Roma Commorative.jpg

The attribution I received with the coin:

    Attribution: RIC VIII 31 Constantinople

    Date: 337-340 AD

Obverse: VRBS ROMA, Helmeted bust of Roma left

Reverse: GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS, Two soldiers standing facing, helmeted heads turned toward each other, reversed spear in outer hand, inner hand resting on shield, one standard between them, CONST in ex.

    Size: 15.06mm

    Weight: 1.44 grams

    Description: nearing VF
