Found this while coin roll hunting. Anyone know what happened here? Two of the 50 rolls in the box were not printed on. Has anyone else seen this? I seem to remember maybe seeing a half dollar roll posted with the same thing. I wonder how much they would go for on eBay...
Quality control, when they were making that paper/ rolls in the factory some didn't get printed, they were running low on ink and kept producing before putting new ink in, etc. It's nothing. Cool ender though.
These are actually quite common to find in boxes. It just means they ran out of ink while producing the wrappers.
I don't understand the question. The coins could have been wrapped at the bank with blank paper. Or they could have used Loomis paper - or Loomis could have wrapped one of them; or all of them. Or some other private party could have done it. Coin wrapping machines aren't black magic ??
I bought it at a small bank. They usually don't carry boxes, just loose rolls. I was surprised that they had one.
Maybe the question is: Where can I buy blank (or Loomis) paper rolls for my Coin Rolling Machine that any one can buy to help me feed an "auction cent" on the end of a nice new-looking pure white (ie, non-imprinted paper), unstained/dirty coin roll ? If you constantly resell rolls on ebay, etc you probably have a coin rolling machine to make it look more "professional". Answer: here's one of MANY places you can buy replacement coin paper rolls for your own Personal Coin Wrapping Machine that you may have bought new or used from such places like ebay (many used/new), Cassida, Accubanker, ABCCoin.com, Klopp, Cummins Allison, or a plethora of other ones, such as ==> https://banksupplies.com/104-acr-1000 The way that paper is cut, it could be from a Laurel (or many others) type machine ==>
