Wow! That one cleaned up nicely! Here's a Crispus I got from an uncleaned lot some years ago. Those greenish encrustations on the reverse defied all removal efforts: Crispus, AD 316-326. Roman AE centenionalis, 2.93 g, 18.2 mm, 6 h. Siscia, AD 320-321 Obv: IVL CRISPVS NOB C, laureate head, right. Rev: CAESARVM NOSTRORVM around wreath enclosing VOT X; ЄSIS* in exergue. Refs: RIC 165; Cohen 44; RCV 16772.

I give coin to profesional cleaner and pay him 2 eur per coin. He cleans bronze coins mechanically under microscope. Uncleaned coin I paid 6-7 eur.

Here goes my only two Crispus (already posted here in CT): Billon centenionalis, RIC VII Thessalonica 125 3.02g, 18.5mm, Thessalonica mint, 324 A.D.; obverse FL IVL CRISPVS NOB CAES, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust left; reverse CAESARVM NOSTRORVM (our prince), VOT / X in two lines within wreath, wreath tied at the bottom and decorated with a jewel at the top, TSDVI in exergue.
