What does it mean when you have a pink nickel?

    Jefferson blushing?.... seriously, There is absolutely no telling. These business strike coins go through untold thousands of hands and conditions. Could be something as simple as a bored person playing with a marker.. Maybe it sat in some spilled soda in a car cup holder for a time (stuff is wicked to coins).... It’s impossible to say. Coins are exposed to things we can only guess at until they fall into our hands.

    What kind of condition is it in? What is the date?
    Of course if you posted a picture of it, would be a lot easier for us to guess.

    Might even be worth a small premium

    The picture doesn't let it show up as pink but it is pink lol the obverse is pink on top and bottom.

    Isn't that one of those super rare-minted silver toned date 1776 nickel accidentally minted as 1976? :greedy: :hungry:

    Oh wait, wrong reverse on it. Never mind. :stop:
    It's just ED :shy: (not that one) - more commonly known as Environmental Damage. :oops:

    Yea i had to see for myself just incase it was one of those cotton candy proofs from the early 60s...Yea spend it, nothing special, probably sat in a cup holder with sticky oweenge soda residue at the bottom
