@Pickin and Grinin Yes, I posted the 3 GtG today. The 1881s i flipped, the 1885o i kept. The toned Jefferson wasmt mine, i posted it to show how ridiculous the grade was... i would have bought.the Jefferson except the asking price was $750
I assume the Duke is going to pass his posting privileges. Lets keep it rolling- Next up is my newp from down in the 'Nati 1885o PCGS MS64 ( Greysheet is $70 +/- ) The eye appeal and luster is amazing in-hand I absolutely love this color !! It doesnt show in the image really- but the eagle and center fields are accentuated by a light aqua green and baby blue. Drool What did i pay ??
Well, you just won again!! I paid $120 and i think the guesses would be higher if you guys held this coin in your hand. I dont have any more toner to post so the floor is open
I'm going to post a weird situation one since I skipped my last win. If the weird story disqualifies it then just skip it. I originally paid something for this coin raw and went back and forth on whether it was AT or NT. During one of the moments of thinking AT I told the seller I wasnt sure about it. He refunded the money and told me to keep it. Not angrily, just being a nice guy. I have kept going back and forth on it and I still plan to send it in. I have since sent the original seller a gift valued at the same amount we originally transacted as it seemed fair. I am fairly sure the coin is a 64/64+ though book value will be in the $70 range regardless. So guess the value of the trade FTW. *And as a side game add a guess in what you think it's value would be in an NT NGC holder(which I would hope to the baby jesus would also be a *) The pics are by Todd BluVette if that matters to anyone.
