You guys I am so elated right now! Finally, my first real doubled dye coin with an extra bonus. Pac man face let's call it. Might be a new discovery but I do know it is a doubled dye all day hands down. Thanks to the one member in a previous forumn who told me to keep searching and one day you will come across a doubled dye and you will automatically know. That day is today! It's so beautiful to me, and I wanted to share this experience with all of you and thanks for being so supportive. I love you guys, but unfortunately not as much as this coin lol. Hurry reply is

Picture is blurry. If it is a doubled die, the damage on the obverse is a detriment.

 

If that's a double-die she's rich yummy 88 so I've looked at with no doubling I'm researching it now I look at every 88 for the reverse variety of an 89 so I look at all my 88

 

Nothing listed that I can find for an 88 of that nature could be a new variety if so I have to go through all my 88 again LOL

 

It's just a damaged coin.

 

The larger I make your photos the more it looks like doubling but it gets blurry and that has the same effect. At any rate, with the deliberate damage done to the coin it's pointless.
It looks as if someone was trying to add a beard to Lincoln and their hand started shaking and they couldn't stop.

Lol I know ! But seriously who comes home and says I feel like taking a penny and somehow Imprinting an image of a pacman dude on the front and the penny chosen just happens to be a doubled die! What are the odds of that really.
