1944 error???

    But what exactly looks strange to you on this 74 year
    Old coin that has seen a lot of wear from circulation?

    There seems to be odd strikes
    To the left of the O and C and below OF on the reverse?

    It appears based on your pic that at some point the eye has took a hit. IMO
