Tried finding out, online, what a group of griffins might be called. Pride, being part lion, or Flight, as part eagle. Wing has also been suggested. It remains an unexplained mystery. My own sense - feel free to reject it ! - is that the Griffin is much too individualistic to be defined as a group. Such might be the fate of a mythological anarchist !!!
I was there when we "world" coin guys wanted a separate segregated world coin/ancients coins forums. I was glad they separated. I on the other hand have not posted "Euro" coins. I mostly like coins from the 18th and 19th century. The OP said it was ok to post some relatively modern griffin coins in his thread. I also do not loose it when someone posts an ancient coins in the world forums either. I am flexible.
Thank you to all of you who have posted griffin images! I have enjoyed them all! Griffins are an ancient myth from the ancient world. Images of griffins, both ancient and modern, are cool!...and derive from the ancient world. Griffons are happy creatures that live in communes where everyone agrees BTW, a flock of griffins is called a flock. A pride of griffins is a pride. A crowd of griffins is just a crowd.
