1935 buffalo nickel

I'm looking through nickels and I happen to see this under the date, but no other nickel has it, I tried Google and everything, is this a mistake coin? What would this be called? It's the mark under the date. No other coin has this. Any idea? It's a 1935 buffalo nickel. Thanks again.

Did you post the wrong photos? Neither has a date showing on it...maybe I'm missing something which is quite possible.

 

Bet that you're looking at the small D under "five cents", aren't you?

 

If possible, give us a picture of the whole coin, front and back.
