I have a 1966 Jefferson nickel. I've been looked up before and it looks like that Error? Am I wrong?

Are you good at possibly grading wheat pennys? I see the name. I have a bunch of them.

Not an error but it does look like there is low relief detail loss for overpolishing of the die.

Before posting a bunch of cents for others to grade, it would be much more rewarding and educational for you to check out the PCGS Photograde site and familiarize yourself with the various grades of coins.

Take a shot at grading your coins first. Then, post the coins with the grade you think it is and then others can comment and validate or explain why it should be a different grade.

There is a photograde app as well. comes in really handy.

    Best of luck!

It's not just caused by wear. It was caused by overpolishing of the die in that area.

If you want us to grade Wheat cents just post pics of them in the US Coins forum. PCGS Photograde can be helpful if you have many of them.
