Would you send for variety designation?

I'm not a variety collector, but I'm 99% sure that my 44-D Mercury in 67+FB is FS-501 RPM. My question is whether to bother sending it back to PCGS for designation. Current pop is 1 with 1 higher. This is not an in-demand variety and I'm not planning to sell, but it might be cool to have the confirmation and the designation by PCGS. What would you do?

I'm thinking that I may request designation when I send in a bunch of others for reconsideration. I also think this baby could go 68.

That is a cool looking coin, every letter on the reverse has toning on it.
