May not be the belle of the ball

I recently acquired this Seated Half inexpensively. I decided to post pictures of it as an offset to all the "doubled die" and "error" coin "finds"/ questions, and "discovery" of amazing never before seen coins in the forums of late.

This is the type of coin that has fascinated me since I started collecting as a youngster about 45 years ago. It is the type of coin that I am drawn to. It is not high grade, not any type of variety, not a rarity, and has some "battle scars". The hands the coin must have passed through, and items purchased made are part of the allure to me. It is the type of coin that fueled my passion for collecting. It may not be the belle of the ball to some, but it is a beauty to me.

Nice honest wear with original surfaces, I like it! Honestly, for the trade off, I will take original surface over technical wear grade all day long.
