1954 w/ good luster/AU worth?

    No, the value does not justify the expense.

    Wow, you just got it graded for free. Ask and you will receive. Only coins worth over $150 are worth grading, and that is probably low, depending on where you send it. I send a lot of lower-value coins to ANACS just to get them in a holder to protect them and prove authentication. PCGS and NGC need to be $200+ to be worthy of slabbing.

    I am at a 35 to 40 depending on an in hand look. The color looks nice, would possibly get a premium in a strait graded holder. But as Michael said probably not worth the effort from the top two tpgs.

    Please see my latest two coins in the “what’s it worth” post I plan to make in 5 minutes. These are two coins I would like everyone’s opinion on. And one of them is rare.
