    Hello!

Input on grade on this coin? Great appeal in hand. Really want to think it’s MS, but think it might be high AU...? Or am I wrong?

See photos taken with different light.

    Thanks!

Looks like slight wear (color change) on the leg. I would say beautiful AU-58.

Agree with @ACE Mike and would only add this one I believe would qualify for a "FH" full head designation too.

Surely, you haven't forgotten my AU64 thread?

Btw, I'm also in the AU58 camp but I don't think this coin would grade MS64 if it didn't have wear. My initial impression was low MS, eg MS61-62.

    Thanks you guys!

High AU is still more than good enough for an upgrade of my Dansco7070.

If you don’t mind me asking about a few more while we are at it?

    1924: AU50-55?
    1926: AU50-AU53?
    1927: AU55-58?
    1930-S: XF45-AU50?

Recently got these as my first higher quality SLQ so appreciate any help. Much easier to grade more circulates ones

I would give it a soak in acetone. Sometimes apparent light high point wear in areas that may have weakness in strike is just accumulated residue from storage. I've had a few apparent AU58s that revealed MS62-64 after a soak.

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

It's a technical AU58, but with that head and the quality of the strike, it may make MS62 in market grading.
