I didn't really see any doubling either. Then you can compare then in-hand. It's really hard to learn things online but actually owning it really helps one understand quicker than looking at pictures as then, you can do one on one comparisons.
I'm going to gamble and say the doubling you think you are seeing is coming from whatever usb scope you are using. If you have a loop, look at it under that magnification and it will quickly verify if you have what you think you have. Those USB scopes can be very deceiving and will give the illusion of something possibly having doubling. If you don't have a loop, invest in a decent one. You can get one for a couple bucks and they come in handy!
