1955 s reverse error

Hello everyone I found this 1955 s coin roll hunting. Would someone be able to tell me the error on the reverse of this coin? Also is it worth anything?

Picture is a bit too fuzzy. We can see part of the design is missing from the reverse but that's about it.

 

Sorry I enhanced the photo a little not sure if it will help or not. I actually just sent it off to ANACS today for grading or I would take a better photo for you. Thanks

 

I can’t figure out what that is but I would bet on it being some kind of deliberate damage.

 

This coin came from a gem bu bank roll. All the coins were beauty’s. More than likely struck through grease or a planchet defect. I have been looking for similar graded examples on eBay.

 

The one below was on eBay it was graded by PCGS for planchet error.

 

Stick around for some more opinions. It appeared to me to have been deliberately buffed away.

 

Unfortunately your enhanced picture is worse than the others! Oh well, it is not easy. Keep at it and your picture skills will only get better.

It is helpful knowing that you picked it from a BU roll. Now I am going to agree with you that it was struck through grease. Does not look like a planchet defect.
