I would imagine that there is a high chance of the coin being fake...

Considering NGC classifies it as "rare" and doesn't specify a price.

Let's see this bad boy. If real I would keep it and not sell it.

The 1686 is the most common of the four dates - 1685 is almost as common. However 1688 is quite scarce and 1687 is rare. The difference in catalog values does not accurately represent the rarity of the 1688 and especially the 1687 coins.
So if this coin is genuine it's a monster. I can't tell anything from the blurry photos.
You need a world coin expert and better clear crisp photos.

    Looks okay to me.
Catalogs are all over the place.

The link I posted above says £60 in Fine .

One catalog I have here says £450 in fine

My Coin Year book just says "Extremely Rare"

    My Krause says "Rare"

thank you not sure what do with it very new to coins been selling a few on eBay . I've started collecting george111 mostly evasive issues and colonial issues as I find them fascinating. Not much of a fan of the Irish Halfpenny series as they sent as easy to acquire. Would you think it's worth putting on eBay as is or do you think it's worth going to a coin Dealer to get checked out. Thanks again for the help.

You would have to get it authenticated as real before doing anything.
If it is genuine and as rare and undervalued as reported, it is worth holding for a while and let the true value catch up in the future.

    based in Chatham Kent. Thanks
I'll be listing them on eBay. There's quite a few condor tokens the kneeling slave. I think is quite nice and is the scarcer of the lot.
Also gunmoney crown and few others Scottish Bodle turner? Not researched them yet. Ebay name is marcoope-265.
Will be listing over next few days.

So are you going to list the Irish half penny? That's not a good idea as you
don't know if it's real or not and it is likely faked. If you sell a fake coin you will have to return the money, be out the time and shipping costs, and get a bad reputation as a seller of fakes, and the coin does not have to be returned to you.
Are you just using this post to drum up business?
If you are serious about this coin you need to take it to an expert to find out if it is
    real or not.

Posting to watch. Very cool if real. The wear seems to indicate real, and looks G4/VG8 imo.
