1927 Australia Florin (Parliment) Grade Thread

    Good morning folks.
    I didn’t want to gum up the new acquisitions thread with more discussion of the grade on this florin but I would love additional input. I purchased it yesterday at my LCS and I’m certain I got it for a steal ($15!!!)
    The following grades have been offered thus far:
    MS63
    PF63
    AU58
    The obverse has seen some traffic but the reverse is beautiful. The coin is fully lustrous in hand. Thanks for any insight.

    Here are a few more photos in different lights. Did a little research and see that the proof strikes are worth a truckload of money...I like truckloads of money...I also like MS business strike coins that I paid XF money for.

    Here is one that I have in (or near) MS condition.
    I do know that the proof examples of this coin have very distinct details around the stairs of the Parliament House. I don’t believe your coin is a proof, but it is a nice example.

    Thanks for the input. I agree that mine is not proof. The steps just aren't there. Keeps me from having to rent a truck for all that money
